Aviation industry experts meet at the ISTAT Freighter Forum in Dresden
The ISTAT Freighter Forum conference will take place for the first time in Germany, Dresden on June 20, 2024.
ISTAT (International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading) is an international association with around 5,000 members worldwide who are involved in the manufacture, maintenance, operation, trading, financing and other activities related to commercial aircraft.
Over 150 ISTAT members take part in the ISTAT Freighter Conference Dresden, including representatives from aircraft manufacturers Airbus, Embraer and Boeing, participants from express freight companies DHL, FedEx and Amazon, and delegates from some of the largest aircraft leasing companies such as AerCap and BBAM. In addition, 28 airlines will use this networking opportunity to exchange ideas and discuss current and future freight aircraft. Representatives of Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) will also take part in the Freighter Forum with conference contributions.
The conference program also includes factory tours at EFW, which give the trade audience an insight into the production of A330 freighters at the leading converter of Airbus freight aircraft.
