Jordi Boto (CEO)

Jordi Boto is Elbe Flugzeugwerke’s Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for overseeing EFW’s strategy and growth. Appointed CEO in 2022, Boto served previously as Chief Operating Officer between 2020 and 2022. A Spanish native, with German citizenship, Boto began his career as an engineer and spent more than 25 years in senior leadership positions at Airbus, including finance and development. Boto left Airbus to join ATR, the world's leading manufacturer of regional turboprop aircraft, and as the CEO of EADS ATR he oversaw production ramp-up per year grow from 6 to 58 aircraft. Boto then became Head of the Power 8 program, charged with restoring Airbus’s financial and operational health following issues caused by the development of the A380 and A400M. Prior to joining EFW, Boto managed PFW Aerospace Speyer from 2012, where he completely turned around the fortunes of the company that was in a financially critical situation when he joined and which helped successfully sell to Total/Hutchinson in 2019.
