    Our premises are located directly next to Dresden Airport in the Dresden Klotzsche industrial estate.

    As a future-orientated company, we train people with a passion for craftsmanship in 4 exciting apprenticeships every year. In total, we already have more than 2,200 employees from around 36 nations at our Dresden site.

  • What do we do at EFW?

    In Dresden and around the world, we convert passenger aircraft into cargo aircraft, manufacture cabin solutions and offer maintenance and engineering services.

  • What will you do?

    Depending on your specialism, you will work directly on the aircraft or manufacture components for aircrafts.

Apprenticeships

Aircraft Electronics Technician

Aircraft electronics technicians work in the manufacturing, maintenance, and equipping of aircraft and aviation technology systems. You lay and connect energy, signal, and data lines, assemble and install components and devices into systems. Furthermore, as an aircraft electronics technician, you independently take care of the installation, commissioning, and quality testing of communication, radar, and autopilot systems, as well as the configuration of software.

Aircraft Mechanic

Aircraft mechanics in manufacturing technology mainly work in the production, partly in the maintenance of entire aircraft. Following technical drawings, you assemble individual parts into assemblies or entire aircraft. Additionally, you mount technical system components in the cell/aircraft structure and install the interior equipment. Quality checks and documentation of work are also part of the professional tasks.

Rubber Technician in the field of Fiber Composite Technology

Plastic technologists in fiber composite technology are experts in the industrial production of products from fiber composite materials. Following technical documents, you manufacture individual parts and assemble complex assemblies. You are also responsible for upgrading, operating, and optimizing complex production plants, such as computer-controlled machines of various kinds. Quality checks and documentation of work are also part of your professional tasks.

Machining Technician

Machining technicians produce workpieces for machines, devices, and systems on conventional or computer-controlled machine tools and process them. In addition to planning and implementing the appropriate work processes, maintenance and care of the machines are also part of your responsibilities. When working with computer-controlled machines, you also create or optimize the required control programs.
